!! Book Trigger Warnings !! - descriptions of sexual assault, domestic abuse, generational trauma, misogyny, homophobia

Reading from the POV of a horrible person usually gets under my skin and any mention of such in a synopsis keeps me from picking up the book in the first place, but I was surprisingly intrigued in hearing Jacob's side of things (even though his dialogue annoyed me). Most likely because when stories that include any type of abuse are told they are usually told from the POV of the abused not the abuser. Overall, Daniel Black is such a talented writer and I am eager to check out his other work.
