This is a really good read. I love the letter form used to tell the story. An important story shared with a son. Definitely recommend it.

A father on his deathbed seeks understanding and redemption through a series of letters to his estranged gay son. Through these letters, he tells his son of his harsh upbringing which shaped his ideas of manhood, sexuality, and family.

This book is an emotional bomb! It is beautifully written and full of regret, pain, and apology. This one will stay with me for a while.

Honest to the point that I'm mad at the main character. I would love to hear the son's point of view. So beautiful and heartbreaking.
