As always, an easy read for when I am in the mood for mystery/crime. I had a suspicion very early on and thought I was wrong again, but turns out, I was correct after all. Maybe I should take over Brunetti’s next case. 🤣

I really like this series. Looks beyond the crime that’s the focus of the case to justice, corruption, influence, and has a clear eyed view of the biases of the law. A son of a wealthy family is kidnapped and the mystery remains unsolved - dark family secrets are revealed and Brunetti is also slowly learning that he may need to learn how to work a computer as he is continually amazed by what can be found online.
