This is a collection of fantasy Christmas tales from New Zealand writers. Some are fluffy, some not so fluffy, all are pretty much good. Come and celebrate Christmas with Dragons, or watch a fairy teach a child an important listen. What happens when you try to arrest Rudolph? Read and find out. For the most part the tales are short, so it is quite easy to dip and out of the collection. There should be something for everyone in this collection.

As this is my book (kind of) it wouldn't be right to give it a rating. But we were so happy. Not only did we get David Hill and Joy Cowley on board, but even before that, we were very proud of the quality of this anthology of great quality fun Christmas stories for the family to enjoy. It's hard to pick a favourite from the quirky and fun "How to Train your Princess," by international best seller Dave Freer to "The Ghost of Christmas Past," by Debbie Cowens to Jan Goldie's "I hate Christmas" to Lee Murray's hilarious, "Bells" where Santa is questioned by the police.

I truly believe there's something for everyone in this collection. Although my family tell "Dear Santa," is amazing, perhaps because it is so short - but perhaps because it makes me cry every time. It reminded mum of one of her students (and really I'm not sure how - my story was rather sweet, and not like this at all!) who was so proud of their father - who'd worked so hard and had come home with a car one night - and in the morning it was another colour!

Anyway, enjoy!
