This was a pretty awesome book, all things told. Didn't give me a lot of facts or history, but it certainly made me very curious. Five stars, if only because I couldn't keep the grin off my face.
If you know me, you know I love books of trivia. This is one of the best I've come across. It's fun, it had lots of facts I hadn't read before, it was long enough to be satisfying and short enough not to feel like a textbook. The trivia is arranged in little blurbs that are (sometimes very) tangentially connected to each other, so there's kind of a flow to it.
I'd say it was worth every penny except I didn't pay for it ;)

Another Mental_floss trivia book. I learned that woodchucks and groundhogs are the same thing, and that snooker is ridonkulous.
I LEARNED SO MANY THINGS FROM THIS BOOK! And I got it signed by John Green (who helped edit it) when I met him. Yay!
I should have read this in a hard copy. I bet there are lots of side bars and little notes. In the electronic version these are additional links...harder to take a quick look. I did enjoy the information and the writing has touches of humor to keep it from being dry and boring.
Fun and interesting little trivia book I found at my sister's house.
Great book to read on the fly. I love anything Mental_floss does.
