Kinda conflicted about this one. Was much more of a character study than I was expecting, and the ending felt rushed and without the higher stakes that I was wanting. Really interesting characters though and I did like the twists on vampire abilities and weaknesses

It took me a while to get to this, but Bury Our Bones more than lived up to the hype! Excellent writing and beautiful prose from V.E. Schwab, as usual, with three very strong and compelling female vampires. It’s a slow build with an extremely rewarding and satisfying payoff. I could see this easily made into a film or limited series, incredible story all around!
