I read this over a decade ago on my original Perrotta kick, but wanted to re-read it before the next Tracy Flick book. I didn’t like Election when I first read it, but really enjoyed it this time. I need to watch the movie to compare it.

Definitely late to reading Tom Perrotta. I love “slice of life” books where it doesn’t exactly matter where the plot is going because the vibes are on point.

Just like the movie, though I remember the movie being funnier.
