One of my top-ten favorites!

Simple and beautifully written and illustrated. A timeless truth to share with all children. I highly recommend this and other Max Lucado's books.

When I was a kid I really loved Max Lucado's stories. They made me feel so special and loved for my uniqueness. This story about Joshua the crippled lamb was so warm and fuzzy, and I think I would have loved this as a kid. As an adult, I thought the storytelling could be a bit more polished but I liked the message--everyone has a role and a place in the Kingdom of God.

Deep stuff. I played Abigail the cow in a school thing and have very fond memories of being treated like a movie star (I mean I still am though...)

Joshua is a crippled lamb who can’t keep up with the others, but he learns that “God has a special place for those who feel left out.” A sweet, comforting Christmas story, beautifully illustrated by Liz Bonham.

Cute story was a good message for those who feel like they don't fit in. Whether you are disabled or something else, remember, there is a reason why you are here!
