For some reason, I saw this and thought it looked like a stand-a-lone story. Silly me. This is part of the whole DC Rebirth! I'm still in the New 52 era so I'm not exactly here yet.

So, I hate storylines that mess with timelines. I feel they are way overdone and I hate how things change. It's like the story is throw away and doesn't matter somehow to me. Anyway. I did like the Batman story in this, but I didn't like the whole, his dad is now Batman deal. That is ridiculous. Just stupid. The flash was pretty cool in this story too despite going back in time. I wish they could just stick to running fast.

It's an interesting story and now I need to go back and read the first in this Rebirth series. It would be good to read I think.

Not a bad crossover story - interesting family interactions!

eh, the art was nice, but story wise, I expected something much more. The first issue, written by Tom King, was great, full of Watchmen homage and King's overall great writing and all that, so even with the thin and slow plot, at least it was great to read. However, in issue 2-4, with Williamson writing it, it lost all the finesse and subtlety from King's issue, and while there are some emotional moments, I feel like the plot was still thin and slow. Sure, there are some "revelations", but that made it seems like this comic was just relying on shock value, which didn't quite work for me, because most of those things we already know beforehand anyway. Overall, this felt like a prequel of Geoff Johns' Doomsday Clock (which I'm very excited about). And could've been so much better.

This was a quick read for me. But it was a captivating one, we learned a little bit more about the mystery that surrounds Rebirth and the other DC universes that have existed by wiped at the same time. It's a great follow up to the DC movie The Flash Paradox, if you haven't read the previous comics that lead to this crossover event (which I haven't).

I got a chance to read this thanks to netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

So, my brother, nerd partner in crime, has been excited about this storyline since it was announced and kept trying to explain it to me. Wasn't really getting me though, seemed interesting but not top of my pile interesting. He didn't do it justice because what I just read was so amazing and intriguing. Bruce and Barry teaming up, nods to characters of past, tying back to flashpoint, history changes, one giant mystery that needed both the greatest detective and forensic extraordinaire. This story was awesome and I'm now a lot more excited for Doomsday Clock then I had been.

Look, I think I kinda liked this, but why are we talking about Flashpoint again and what on Earth did that have to do with Watchmen?

70/100.

Buena trama, buen dibujo. Un pequeño crossover que no está nada mal si sigues ambas series.

Só posso dizer que chorei com a terceira edição 😢

Mas no geral é uma história bem legal, ansioso pra Doomsday Clock.
