An enjoyable story but one that seemed to spend more time detailing vegan cooking than aspects of alchemy. Wish there had been a bigger focus on the actual alchemy or even the tea, Chinese herbs / apothecary aspects of the story. As far as a cozy mystery goes, this was a pleasant read (or listen) but I doubt I'll continue with the series.

I borrowed this as part of the Audible Plus catalog.

I enjoyed this, but it's a pretty standard urban fantasy book - I think part of why I was ok with that is because I haven't read any in a while!

Good narrator, relatively interesting story - not sure I'd read more, however. (If I'm going to read urban fantasy, I'm going to finish Soulbound!)
