This was a fast cute fun read about discovering ones true self and letting go the image was me wants to portray. I ate this up. I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic between the two sisters. This story follows a very typical romance novel architecture, but the other themes really shined through. I loved the town and want to visit.

It Happened One Summer is the perfect summer read - it was light and super cute! I definitely got the 'Alexis Rose' feel from Pieper.. I ended up really loving her character. I can't wait to read the next book about Hannah because I found myself rooting for her (and Fox)!

Such a funny & lighthearted book! A nice break from some more serious reads.

The spice wasn't spicing. Brendan sounded like an old man a lot of the time and piper was very annoying at the start. I did enjoy her character development. I just feel like there was barely any tension between Brendan and Piper and im more keen to read hannah and foxs story. rated 2.5 stars

The first half of this book was harder to get into than I thought it would be. Gets better, liked the ending and the spice!
