This book is just beautiful. I’m a bit of a sucker for books with animal characters so this book won me from the beginning, but it was much more than that, I feel like I was taken on a beautiful and amazing journey and I was really able to see life through the main characters eyes. It was exactly what I needed today.

This book genuinely made me cry, and that's a feat not many books have accomplished.

The Traveling Cat Chronicles is a slow paced, emotion packed, tearjerker of a story that will leave a lasting impression on anyone who reads.

The Traveling Cat Chronicles tackles themes of friendship, love, death, grief in such a beautiful unique way all centered around a cynical old cat.

I cannot recommend this book enough, especially if you are a cat lover or a fan of Japanese literature.
