What the what???
I mean I figured we would het a cliffhanger but really?!! Everything is finally coming together and bam! Oh it's all going to break loose in the next book - I can feel it.

We’ve been waiting for so long to hear what really happened with Kent and now weave finally got our answers and what a rollercoaster THAT was. I feel like, from the end of book 3 to now, she’s basically been waiting the whole book to make a choice and even though I’m nervous for her, I’m glad she finally decided!

I'm baffled how this gem of a series is not getting enough love. Why? Seriously? This series is so freaking good with great world building and solid characters that you can get behind. You root for the good guys to win the day and you curse for the baddies to get their just desserts.
Book 4 is focused on Kent. Oh my, I have to admit that I wasn't a fan of him but he grew on me. Out of the 5 mates, I think he has the toughest (yes, yes I know Kiaran is under Ariana's thrall but he's still a Fae). It is a struggle for Kent because he doesn't feel the bond as he is human but he has been with Kari the longest. My heart ached when I read his back story, it was so tragic and I understand why he did what he did to those horrible Fae, also why he hated Aeric, Brae and Verys initially. Over the course of the series, he has changed so much and he calls them his brothers now with Aeric being his closest friend.
I'm super happy with Kent's story arch, I cannot wait for Book 5 (any idea when?) I really want to see that horrible Ariana gone!
