This is the definition of 'the perfect novel' - without a doubt.

Terrific characters, an inspiring main character (whom I adored), and a compelling narrative. Brontë's writing is exceptional - and never seems to linger or drag in any way. A true master in the art of literature.

There's just so much to take away from this book - whether it be life lessons on morality, or even technical tips on novel writing and communication in general. It's no surprise that this book has stood the test of time.

It just needs to be experienced.
