The new mishaps and romantic entanglements of Archie and crew continue in this second compilation. While the artists and illustrators differ from the first volume, the mood and feeling remain the same, and this artwork is also pleasing, in a slightly different way.
I read it on a plane, and it made me laugh-out-loud several times. I was amused and entertained, even when the storyline got wacky (I did like the self-referential section), and will read the next volume too.

I'm still pretty happy with this reboot of Archie...but I wish there was more Jughead stealing the scenes! This book is well illustrated and the story is just fun. This is an easy and just a for fun read. ~Ashley

I really missed Fiona Staples, but Mark Waid really has this series on lock-down.

Some interesting character arcs. I like how these connect back to the original comics, for readers that read them, in particular Archie's school picture on the wall of their house.

Are we... supposed to like Veronica? Because this volume made it feel like we're supposed to like her but... I cannot stand her.
Over all so cute. I miss Jughead. I hope he's in the next issue.
Forever wishing Archie and Betty would get to it already!
