Listened an audiobook, this was a decent psychological thriller. I felt it took a little while to really intensify and found the characters extremely frustrating at times but it’s part of the experience of reading it.

This was nonstop tension from the first page. I was on edge basically the entire time. Just when I thought it was becoming a bit predictable, a major twist came out of left field I almost couldn’t believe was happening. 

Fair warning, tough concepts are covered in depth in this book, so make sure you check triggers before diving in.

This is not a typical Freida McFadden thriller with plot twists. With that being said, the wrap up of the story really saved it for me. I’m a “dummy reader”. I’m reading for the enjoyment and vibes. I don’t think too much into the story and writing. And I truly enjoyed reading this book.
