The plot keeps the reader interested, while the characters keep the reader invested. Abuse, Mental health, and pregnancy are major themes that cross into dangerous territory. Clues are left throughout the story to help guide to the conclusion, so it’s up to the reader to follow the breadcrumbs. The different perspectives slipped in between the main character’s experience deepens the understanding of how everything came together to form the events of the story.

This book definitely showed why you shy or judge someone else based on appearances or even what you may see because you honestly don’t know the entire story behind someone. 

Tegan is 8 months pregnant and needing to get away for a few days so decides to take a trip to visit her brother. What’s supposed to be a stress free trip turns into a nightmare when she gets caught in a blizzard on the way there. Will she make it out alive will her baby? 

I absolutely loved this book and Frieda is becoming on of my favorite authors! I am just burning through her books! Can’t wait to read the next one!

This story particularly dragged on, but I still enjoyed seeing it come to an end.

The most shocking part of this story was how stupid the characters were.
