This story pulled me in right from the beginning, with characters I couldn’t help but become invested in. Each one felt so real and layered that I found myself caring deeply about where their journey would take them. The ending was heartfelt and powerful, tying the story together in a way that left me believing that sometimes things truly do happen for a reason. So so so bad. Audible download. Pregnant girl brought to a house after being caught in a snowstorm and getting in a car accident. She’s kept in the basement, she suspects the husband is a bad man. I listened for half the book and nothing happened.

This book kept me on my toes the whole way through 🤯. I couldn’t predict what was coming next—every time I thought I had it figured out, Freida flipped the script again 😅. It’s twisty, fast-paced, and one of those reads where you just keep saying “one more chapter” until suddenly you’ve finished 📖✨. Definitely a wild ride 🚗💥.
I don’t know… as per usual I didn’t pick up on a few of the plot twists, but I didn’t find it exciting or surprising when they were revealed either unfortunately

First of all, I do enjoy reading every one of her books but for some of them isn’t quite upto the expectations I really keep for her books. I don’t know why she is in a hurry to publish so many books at once, but this is affecting the quality of the book in overall. I feel like her older books have that interesting ‘edge’ to the storyline. This one however gave me a headache. The story started pretty good but when I got to the middle portion, it irritated me so much. Some of the characters are so insufferable. I wanted to like the book, but I really couldn’t. I have read much better books by Freida and I loved them. However, this one was not likeable by me. No hate to author or anyone who liked this one. But I kinda expected more. She is one of my top favourite authors in thriller section, and I would love to read more books by her <3
