I was tired of hearing about her being pregnant and her swollen foot. DNFed at 45%

Freida surprised me with this one! It was an interesting thriller with so many going against Teagan; it was so hard to trust any of the other characters, and even harder to stop myself from yelling at the book to warn Teagan about the schemes going on behind her back! Definitely kept me on edge and interested to hear more.
This book was so good I couldn’t put it down. It stressed me out so much because I was so invested in the characters and the outcomes. Excellent plot twists as well!

Part of me understands why Tegan never told anyone what happened in the basement. It is something very traumatic and if you have to share it with people, it means reliving all the experiences.
Something I cringed at every time it happened, and it happened quite a lot, is when her unborn child would "speak" to her and she would call the child Tuna.
I am glad that Sadie will be brought up in much better living circumstances.
