I read this book some time ago, so I can say the specifics about it but it has a pretty good plot.
I recommend it for 12 and up.

A lovely story of seeing things as they really are as you pull back the layers of grief one by one.

Although this is a "young adult novel," I think I apply to readers of all ages. The themes of grief, death, love, family, and others were miraculously demonstrated through the stories of two intertwined girls.

If there ever was such a thing as a "must read" this is it. This evokes memories of The Education of Little Tree. A great read.
