Great first book of the year to set the tone for 2022. Quiet, realistic hope.

A tiny honest book about faith and life's craziness. I really enjoyed listening to her stories and advice. Will check out others by her. There were a lot of good passages and quotes but I didn't get them written down as I listened to most of this while driving in traffic. A good book for when you're really down and want some hope, but not false hope.

I love Anne Lamott and have devoured most of her books. She is often able to put words to the essence of hope, love, grief, and the act of being a human that are both beautiful and strikingly raw. This book of hers is a great compilation of those thoughts. It is a quick read and great inspirational gift.
