We get dropped into Daphnes life after her fiancé (Peter) has recently left her for his childhood best friend (Petra).
The breakup was abrupt and left her with no place to go, she ends up staying with Petra’s ex Miles, (who is also mourning the loss of his relationship with Petra) until she finds a new town and new job.
Daphne and Miles get to know each other and the rest is predictable rom com but still fun.

-minimal cheesiness, characters were mature when it mattered and immature when it didn’t.
-funny and easy read, parts that made me snicker out loud and some parts that made me blush
