Kulti and his schnecke

“Every single thing that has ever happened in my life has led me here, Sal. Destiny is a ladder, a series of steps that takes you where you’re supposed to go. I am the man that I am, and I have done the things that I’ve done, to get me to you.”

Bow down to the queen of slowest slow burns for making a 32 year old day dream about Reiner Kulti over a period of one week
medium-paced

for an almost six hundred pages long book this felt……undeveloped?

This was a five star read definitely. I will say, I’ve started to notice Mariana’s books usually are missing a bit of background on the MMCs. In this case, what happened with Kulti and his ex? Why did he get divorced? It felt like by the end I knew nothing about his life before quitting soccer and like is like just began when he quit. I feel like there are a lot of plot holes that never get resolved.

Still an amazing book I love, I just wish we got to see more of Kulti’s life before he met Sal.

no. this isn’t slow burn. this is SLOW FREEZE!

It took me a hot sec to get into this book but once I was in I LOVED it.

ok like a slow slow burn and a sport romance i think is my cuppa tea

I waited too damn long to read this book. This was amazing, heartwarming and I was hooked from the start. I loved watching these two figure out their friendship!
