Loved it

im sorry but i don’t like kulti. he was so rude to other people that’s not connected to sal with NO explanarion except that “he’s not gonna change.” sal is such a nice person and definitely deserves someone better than him idc idc. also i know this is an unpopular opinion but their relationship went a bit too fast for me

This book was amazing

This book was amazing. I loved it so much I think I will be rereading this book so many times

I liked the story and I liked the slow burn. It felt like a she fell first but he fell harder type situation. I did think Kulti was problematic and toxic and he didn’t really evolve. It’s also clear that the author doesn’t know that much about soccer. I liked the banter between characters. The FMC was very likable.

I am probably the last person to read this slow-burn romance, but I am glad I did. Zapata brings us the best of men- desirable, sexy and ruggedly handsome. I have always talked about Aiden Graves, but Reiner Kulti is my new favorite.
Kulti, a sports romance is a package deal. There's all the drama in the world and sparks keep flying here and there. I savored this book nice and slow and oh! boy did it make me swoon.

Recommending this to every Romance fanatic I meet :P

This was a reread as well and I did not enjoy it as much. I enjoy slow burn but this was way too much. Nothing much happens for the first 17% of the book and it made me a little frustrated. But things finally started to pick up but the conflict between Kulti and Sal was repetitive and made me want to roll my eyes so much. Also, the time it took for them to get together, it felt disconnected for me.

Kulti was an introvert who is employed as caoch for the Pipers team where Sal is a striker. They do not see eye to eye at first but things take a turn when Sal decides to shake on it. I really love Sal but Kulti, not so much. If you don't like age difference that are significant then, this book is not for you.

There are a lot of things that I appreciate about this book.
It takes the success that we see players achieve and demystifies it. The hard work they go through to make it. The hours of exercise, the constant fear that your player may exploit your weakness and the way it wears on players health. The way they are underpaid and how they have to have a second job to make ends meet. How management can be unfair towards players.
If there is one thing I appreciate about Zapata is the amount of research she puts into her books.
