If I see the name Mariana Zapata in a book, I'll automatically know the chemistry between the main characters would be astronomical. I usually don't like pairings with a big age difference but man is this an exception, everything made sense. I love Sal and Reiner so much it's unreal, they weren't perfect making this book all the more beautiful

I think so. This was a sloooooooooooow burn. Painfully slow burn. I think this was a lot longer then it needed to be, and I wish there was more steam and less poop talk.
But I still enjoyed it.

It didn’t really do it for me. I like slow-burn, but something needs to happen in the story meanwhile.
I couldn’t get over all the invented football terms, I guess not using the real names of the tournaments and leagues has something to do with the rights?
As a Spanish speaker the lack of written accents in all the words except for Salomé, was too much.
As a woman married to a German, plus points for describing so well their stoicism 😂
