I meticulously picked my next Mariana Zapata book because I loved All Rhodes lead here. Things said in this book are weird, like the father blatantly dismissing his younger daughter in favor of his older one, who's playing a sport he loves, and now being coached by who he thinks is the best player in the world, only to be turned down for an autograph. Now his daughter stood up and said mean words to this world's best player, and now, he's sorry and maybe wants to be civil? THIS IS AFTER gaslighting her and threatening her with unjust reprimand. Is this book for real? Should I keep on reading?
This was before I even saw the tiktoks I've seen about MZ talking shit of Filipinos on her other book. I went there to see if this book is even worth finishing. Ugh.

Avevo già letto From Lukov with Love, altro contemporaneo sportivo della Zapata incentrato sul pattinaggio. Dato che mi è piaciuto ho deciso di provare anche Kulti, anche perchè sono letture perfette per un periodo impegnativo. Purtroppo però Kulti mi ha delusa, l'aspetto sportivo secondo me poteva essere approfondito di più, l'interesse amoroso è davvero antipatico e tratta malissimo la protagonista! Già i personaggi così stronzi non mi piacciono e qui è troppo esagerato, ogni tanto due schiaffi ci vorrebbero.

Mariana Zapata is my queen. Her slow burns are just impeccable and this is no exception. She somehow managed to combine the enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, mmc taking care of fmc, and sports romance all in one. Time to reread Dear Aaron again
