16 January 2021: 4 stars. I was skeptical going into this. I don’t normally enjoy age-gaps, or sports in the romances I read. Zapata never fails to prove me wrong. She has solidified herself as one of my favorite romance authors. The ending really got me. I will always be a sucker for a solid and satisfying HEA.

i can’t believe i almost dnfed this book! i would usually complain that it was the slowest burn ever (seriously it had one kiss, one almost sex and one sex scene) ALL at the end of the book but somehow it actually made it better?
i felt their relationship progress so much more i loved that there was no basic cliche break up scene and i loved sols dad and friends although i half expected her brother to come back it was a bit strange to me he was set up to be a big character yet we never saw him haha
i love rey so much personally i could not deal with him but he is just so perfect for sol i wanted to scream and her obliviousness aw
