This book was a fun read and my first read of 2022. I really liked the characters and that the lead had friend how supported her when the other girls on the time HATED her guts. The fact that the character did not get together until the end of the season was important to me. They waited even thought the both liked each other.... very professional and I support it. Also can we please talk about the letter. The fact that he kept it is so cute. I hope they keep it forever.
I'm at the 30% mark and the MMC is a jerk, the FMC feels childish and I can't with the poop over and over again. I've lost count of how many times the FMC has said it but I'm soooooooo done with it.
There's a 13 yr age gap and it shows and I'm unclear how old the FMC is because she feels young like in a college freshman way and IDK how to feel about that but I've given this enough time to hook me and I'm not feeling it.

The tension in this book is off the charts!! If you love slow burns, this is the one. The chemistry between these two had me giggling the whole time. I am so in love with them. The banter is top tier in this book. The way they grow and build with each other throughout the book just takes this book over the top.
This book may have just cemented me as a sports romance girlie. They way it was written kept me intrigued, but not overwhelmed with all the sports lingo. Who knows maybe might start going to some soccer games soon.

Excuse me???? Mariana zapata men are THE MOST PERFECT MEN in the world. This was really really nice, read it in 2 nights… this beautiful friendship had me on a chokehold and damn… when they finally get together i thought Reys words were going to burst my little heart ❤️

I fully enjoyed this storyline, the slow burn, and all the characters! What a fun sporty romance
Reads like a Wattpad fanfic. A lot of telling, not showing. Immature and clunky dialogue. Too many mentions of poop and bratwurst - and not in the fun and sexy way.
