💜⚡️All I know is this could either break my heart or bring it back to life
Got a feelin' your electric touch could fill this ghost town up with life 💜⚡️
It’s like you tied my shoelaces together the moment we met and the knot’s only getting tighter the longer I try to outrun you. It’s just . . . I have no idea what to do with all of this intensity, this longing, this . . . sort of painful thing in my heart that feels like hope and fear and need. The muscles to carry these sorts of big feelings atrophied a long time ago, and the weight of it is crushing me.”
An expected roadtrip full of funky quips and plenty of movie quotes with the end destination being a story about processing. Also there’s a hot grumpy author with heterochromia. Like what more could you want?
It’s clever. I laughed out long so much. I cried TWICE. Read now.
“There are a lot of things that don’t go your way over ninety-some years, she told me once when I asked how she remained so unaffected by it. You learn to take it in stride and be extra grateful for the things that do.”
