So where do I begin with this review. I’ve been reading Tijan for a long time and this book was different from her others. I loved Brody and the whole bad boy appeal but when you find out the reasons why it does pull at your heart strings. Brody is sent to do a movie in a small town and this is his last shot at redemption. While he’s there he meets Morgan.

I have to say Morgan was a very interesting character. She owned lots of land and a nice house but prefers the company of horses over people. As a born and raised City gal I had a hard time connecting to her character. I liked her and she had her moments but I didn’t fill on connect like I did with Brody.

As the story progresses we discover some shocking truths. I did enjoy this suspense part of the book and that kept me on my toes..The beginning was a little slow then it picked up and towards the end I couldn’t put it down. As a long time reader of Tijan. I did like the book but I didn’t full on love it like I did “Ryan’s Bed” by this author. With that being said I will be reading future titles from this author and please don’t let my review stop you from reading.

Loved this book so hard!!! This book has everything you could want. There is love, romance, lust, mystery, hate, wonder, and so much more. Tijan consistently gives us books that speak to the soul. This book is no different. You have a bad boy of hollywood, that circumstances made that him that way, and you have a mystery wrapped in an enigma, and the circumstances that made her that way. Two broken souls finding each other when they never should have met. Story is told in dual pov.

Huge Roman fan. This book is different from her other works

I liked that this book is Tijan, but it's different. I always love the character development this author does and I can totally get lost in her novels. This book, to me, seems more realistic and quite plausible more so than her other plots, even though it's difficult to imagine a woman riding wild horses. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not my fave Tijan book - I didn't really like the characters and thought the plot and ending was a bit unbelievable

Loved this book and it's setting. While there's a romance at the heart of the story, this book is more about the young women and her life and her way of living. Brody, the Hero, is a Hollywood heart throb actor who has been turning into quite the bad boy, instead of trying to heal himself after the death of his brother. In hopes to clear his head (and as a stipulation for a future movie deal,) he heads to Montana to film a movie about a murdered women, which is based on a true story. He meets the family of the victim, well most of them anyways. He spots Morgan, the Heroine, from a distance. She's an enigma, a mystery. She also runs with wild horses. She literally lives out in the wild open. She is one with the earth, and animals. Just reading about her and how she lives makes this book worth reading. Heck, even if you aren't into romances so much, you can enjoy the book just to hear her story. She's a interesting and different sort of character. You'll fall in love with her immediately.

This is a different kind of romance. They are both intrigued with the other the first time they spotted them, but because she is how she is, it wasn't like he could just walk up to her and ask her to go for drinks to get to know each other. They had to go a different route. He seemed to understand her before he even talked to her.

The horses are a big part of the book. They are magnificent creatures and this book really highlights their beauty. There is a small amount of mystery/suspense included in addition to the romance. Has a few twists. There is plenty of sexual content too, and would probably this keep away from the younger readers. It's a beautiful, and at times heartbreaking, story that is well written. Alternates between POVs. Great characters.

Be ready to take off & run away with Brody!
This story is told in multiple POV's which I am a big fan of because I love to know what is in the mind of each character.
Just a spectacularly, vivid, suspenseful story of two broken souls that come together to find each other when they least expect to.
I loved how we get a good dose of the Hollywood life from Brody and Morgan brought the right amount of free willing life of living out in her small town.
Morgan instantly was a character that I could connect with being an outsider to everyone around her. She is broken and wounded.
Brody coming into her territory makes Morgan realize she is not the only one that suspects that there is more to her mothers death than everyone else thinks.
Brody & Morgan's chemistry is a beautiful buildup full of angst, heartache and soo much more.
Go get this book and find out if Bad Boy Brody is really as bad as everyone thinks.

This was different and unexpected. I was completely pulled in and loving in... until the end. I can not believe Morgan had to leave her home and the horses she loved so Brody could be a movie star!!! No. Just no. She had to leave behind so much and it ripped at her soul. What would he have left behind? Money and fame? He needed to be the one to sacrifice something for her. I got a little sick of hearing about all the people he hooked up with and everyone who adored him. He was a little too full of himself and I wanted a big gesture at the end to show he was going to put her first and not himself. I didn't get that from this ending. I mean why wouldn't he stay there with her? So he could be famous and adored? Would he have even come back if it wasn't for his nieces? The last thought we get from him before he receives the phone cam from Gayle is “I have to let her go. It will never work.” I'm a little heartbroken at that ending! I can't get over it. So why the 3 stars if I'm so upset? Well, like I said, I was totally invested in the story and I could feel the heartbreak from these characters. It had enough mystery to keep you reading and was interesting enough for me to devour it in a day. I believe in giving credit where is due, so even though I wanted so much more from Brody at the end, it was a good book with an original story.

This book was just wonderful! I loved Morgan! I‘m in awe of her! Brody was awesome too and had a lot to deal of, but Morgan?!

I don‘t know what it is with books from tijan. But every time i pick up a book from her and starting reading i have a feeling. I‘m tensing, i feel sad, hopeful, i know, it will hurt in a way. And it was the same with this book. In the end i cried so hard because i knew there would be a good bye. And her decision  was so hard and i was happy for her the same time!

This book was short but it had so much in it! I felt her connection with the mustangs, i felt the love for them and Brody. There was insta-love, soulmate, found family, a mysterious murder and mustangs 🐴⛰️♥️

There was a scene where she showed up the first time on set. On her sister. And i could feel the magic when she showed up. And when she rode with them? It was so heart-warming. I could just cry when i think about it.

The book title shows you nothing about this awesome story!

Based on the cover and name of this book, you don’t expect much. But surprisingly this book was really good. Dragged on a bit at the end but overall a nice read.
