It was awesome, really good read. I would recommend it if your in to teens getting into unimaginable trouble and living to tell the tale.

it was just ok, I liked the title so I picked it up, but it lacked for me, maybe it was because it was for younger people, but I usually never have problems like that

Reminiscent of The Lighting Thief, but it has its own personality as well.

This book gets 1 star mainly because I can't give it -1,000,000.
Sorry. I read this book because I am in book club at my high school. Everyone hated it. The book is choppy, the author is dreadfully repetitive, and she took shortcuts. She threw whatever she could throw in so she wouldn't have to write about fight scenes and whatnot. Hades is now a couch potato? The three-headed dog is a puppy? How about no.
Apparently you have to read the rest of the trilogy to understand it, but after this book I don't feel compelled to.

this was really great :D

percy jackson's the obvious comparison here but for kids books that share the fun with greek mythology! aspect the tone is surprisingly different

i just get the sense ursu's a bit more critical of the greek gods? i mean the percy jackson books totally are, like the series runs on deadbeat dad syndrome but. still a difference!

anyways i really like charlotte and zee; they're an excellently balanced duo. clever talker slightly misanthropic charlotte! polite responsible soccer player zee! the way they keep trading off on being the brave one! it is just a really well done mix of personality traits; four for you anne ursu

no really, 4 stars. :D

What a fun book! I just love Anne Ursu's writing style. It is so engaging and witty. Why did I know know this book existed earlier? Anne Ursu + Greek mythology = awesome!
