This was such a fun, quick read. It was tense and I honestly wasn’t expecting the plot twist. However, it is a bit far fetched and unrealistic but you should expect that from a mystery book.

Honestly captivating and creepy. Yes, you have to suspend belief a bit, and the ending is not so crystal clear, but still, I think the story was quite interesting. I wish the ending was more concrete, but honestly, I found that I didn't entirely mind that some things are "unsettled."

Really enjoyable, as someone who sometimes struggles with enjoying translated Japanese Lit! Going to read Strange Pictures right after this :)

This book was actually recommended to me by a colleague, but funny enough, I first stumbled upon it on TikTok and then promptly forgot about it. When I finally picked it up, I ended up finishing it in just one day—it’s that easy to get pulled in.

The floorplans in the story were fascinating and really added to the eerie atmosphere. However, the ending felt a bit too open for me. I closed the book with so many questions still swirling in my head, wishing I could ask the author directly.

That said, I genuinely enjoyed the experience. It’s the kind of story that lingers with you, not just because of the unsettling details, but because it leaves space for your imagination to run wild—whether you’re ready for that or not.
