Erotic with a heartbreaking sweet storyline

Sean the baby of the family has secrets, so well hidden his girlfriend doesn’t even know. But all things come out in time. I love Mari’s writing style, these characters worm their way into your heart, and the story tugs at your heart while make you sweat.

I'v always loved Sean from start. Sean been I love with his bf chad for years but after chad makes it very clear nothing would happen he put his feelings aside and moves on with Lauren. They all move into a new house together and that's when cracks start to show in their friendship. I love how it shows the start of a weird but difficult start to this new open relationship. It seems really realistic to me. Great story and HEA.

I had a hard time transitioning Sean from teen in the first book to adult in this book. I wasn't that interested in him as a hero.

This is nothing against Mari's writing and storytelling since I do love her work. This is solely just my not being that into it. So for me the book was okay.

Maybe one day I can go back and re-read his story and enjoy it just as much as I enjoyed the others in the series.

medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
  • Diverse cast of characters? It's complicated
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Steamy, Daring, Modern.

There were many different tropes in this book that I really enjoyed. I'm beginning to think my favourite character in the books is Pop Collins the father of the family.

This book was a 5 star read for me. After I read the first book in the series, I bought this book as I knew I wanted more. I like that this series doesn't have to be read in order.

I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

My favorite, well of the four I read these 2 days anyways, I don't remember the first 3, too long ago. Loved the characters and the story and glad they all worked it out. So sweet! :)

This is an MMF story that is part of a series but I began with this book which works fine as a standalone. I liked the three characters but I missed out on childhood backgrounds since I didn’t read the earlier books. I enjoyed the story and cared about each of the characters.
