I haven't read this since I was 8 years old. I remember loving it back then but don't really remember anything about the plot or characters. I have been meaning to reread it since the movie came out in 2018 because I didn't want to watch the movie without reading it again. I'm so glad I picked it up again. It still holds up and was as whimsical as it was 20+ years ago.

One of my favorite books. I had to re-read it over the weekend as the very cosmos seemed to be sending me signs to dig it out of storage. My understanding of Physics begins and ends with Madeleine L'Engle's little bug on a string.

Loved this just as much now as I did in 2nd grade when Mrs. Liebing gave me my first copy. So magical. The audiobook narration was amazing as well, highly recommend.

Obviously I picked this book up so I could know what to expect when I went to see the film. I did not expect to get fully sucked into the book, read it in less than 24 hours, and then immediately go see the movie. This book was obviously written for a younger reader but I enjoyed the themes and the magic that it contained. I found myself wrapped up in the story and now I am debating reading the other books as well. While there was some differences between the film and the book, I enjoyed it immensely and thought it was a good adaptation.
