My favorite thing about Lily Gold books (Nanny for the Neighbors and Triple Duty Bodygaurds are the others in this Why Choose anthology and also A+) is that she writes cute, spicy relationships that deal with heavy topics for all the characters and the typical miscommunication that causes the conflict is actually understandable, and isn't just one chatacter being dumb AF.
Like Riven's reaction in this book is not great. However, knowing his past, you can get why it's his first instinct.

This book has more pet names straight out the gate than the other novels of hers I’ve read. But it’s still good. I felt like sometimes the “honey” or “babe” was cringe but it was still overall a

This book was as rewardingly steamy as the title suggests, and I absolutely loved the different relationship dynamics between the FMC and each of her lovers. The chemistry in their one-on-one encounters only made the group encounters that much more exciting, and I was totally hooked on the story development as well. Some features of the plot were highly unrealistic of course, but it’s all in good fun and not really detrimental to the reader’s enjoyment. I’m hooked on this trope and can’t wait to get a hold of this author’s other books if they promise to be as delicious as TSMM. I’ve seen some reviews commenting on the recycled character types throughout the other books, but that’s fine by me as long as the spice is consistent. Plus, I never get enough of the broody enemies-to-lovers type of men in these stories.
Overall, I give this a rec if you’re into the idea of reverse harem/why choose. The storyline was a 6/10 but the smut was a 10/10, so it’s definitely worth a few days (or hours) of your free time.
