This was such an amazing book! I watched the movie and it was also so good!
The movie has some things taken out and added from the book in it.

I read this for university, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Of course, I did not enjoy the language, the slurs. It was written a long time ago so it was no surprise.

For most of the book, I really did not like Huckleberry Finn. It was not until close to the ending, I started to enjoy him. I hate Tom Sawyer, though. He is just awful and annoying.

I was never bored. Something was happening the whole time. There was not a single moment without some sort of event.

I don't really know how to review this. It was fine, I enjoyed parts of it, but it is definitely not one of my favorite books.

i was not expecting to enjoy this as much as i did, i heard a lot of negative things about this book, especially from people who read it and high school for their english class. i personally really liked it and i can’t really pinpoint why.

the main character is obviously very attaching and he grew on me really quickly. the story in itself was quite funny too, i did laugh a few times which surprised me ngl.

i think huckleberry finn is one of those books that you’ll hate if someone force you to read and study it but can 100% enjoy if you pick it up on your own

excruciating to get through because the relentless racism portrayed in this book evidently made it age like milk

Wasn't a big fan of the plot -- lots of space was devoted to various side plots that didn't particularly interest me, particularly that Romeo-and-Juliet-esque blood feud came out of nowhere. The conmen took over like half of the book, and the ending with Tom
cruelly pulling everyone's leg
just felt like pointless buffer.

I did however enjoy the writing despite my usual dislike of child narrators and Jim and Huck's relationship was quite sweet and lovely.
