So Good

This was such a great holiday book.

I adore Arlo, he is the best! He is awkard and accident prone and so snarky, honestly he was a joy to read about. Jack seems to be his complete opposite but they work so well together.

It is a low angst, happy and romantic story. I so enjoyed this book and can't recommend it more. If you are looking for a holiday story with love and snark and happiness this is the one!

3.75 stars. It took me a while to get into the story, the POV changes were a bit erratic and the view of my hometown quite touristy (there's a lot more to the city than the canals), but overall this was a warm and cozy story, without too many bumps in the road. Arlo and Jack were two opposites who were very good for each other and the side characters were a lovely bunch (well except for a certain intruder and Jack's parents). I would love to read the story about how Tom and Bee got together in Scotland though. Perhaps someday?

Arlo just made me giggle, he was so cute and clumsy and perfectly imperfect.

Jack so serious but so wholesome.

They go together like cheese n crackers.

This read had a twat character, wonderful family and friends and was just a beautiful fun read.
