Wanted to like this one, but it was quite weird. I think maybe I missed some of the nuance since I listened to the audiobook and felt the perspective change was more difficult to keep track of. The premise was cool, but the execution fell a little flat.

A lot, and I mean a LOT of passive voice / being verbs.

I really enjoyed this book even though it was a pretty strong divergence from what I usually read. This is much more focused on reflection, poetic writing, and a more fluid plot. If you prefer strong plotting and linear storytelling, this isn’t the book for you. I don’t usually like non-linear timelines, but I think the author did a good job of interconnecting people and storylines over time.

This story takes a meta and lightly sci fi approach on time and aging. The writing is fine but the plot was lacking. Low 2 because I could read it but can’t recommend it.
