A great non-fiction graphic novel with a variety of stories from immigrants with varying experiences and goals in their journeys. Highly recommend this read and I liked that there were different illustrators as well for all the different stories which matched the tones well and captured the stories even more vividly.

Love the Nate Powell cover art. Love the structure of storytelling and illustration for the 10 true stories of immigrants and refugees. Essential. Teach this instead of To Kill a Mockingbird.

One thing I love about being part of so many book clubs on social media is getting recommendations of books to read. If not for social media, I never would have read this book. It’s an anthology of people who immigrated to the U.S and it was absolutely brilliant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend this book.
