The book was just okay... I enjoyed the first one, but the second book was just too different. It took out the main love interest from the first and was an entirely different story. The plot itself was fine, but I just couldn't get over how different it was from the first. Needless to say, I won't keep going in the series. Oh well!

This a good book to listen to while exercising. I liked the narration quite a bit. I picked this up at a whim at the library and had to go back and listen to the first in the series.

While the first in the series was a little overly fluffy, it was still fun. This one...just vapid. When I could focus in on the mystery it wasn't bad, but all of the whining about Doc, falling over herself to catch a look at the tallest guy with the bluest eyes...bah. Really bad this time.

ahhh.... really nice read. Had me going in 3 different directions for suspects especially after giving me the obvious one first. This book has been compared to Janet Evanovich's writing but I also found it a tad bit reminiscent of Lois Duncan's writing. I can't wait to pick up the next book in the series.
On another note. I don't think the story line is necessarily effected by the placement in series but this is the second book in the series. I was unaware of that when finding this book at my local library. I had tried to make sure it wasn't part of a series but to no avail. I need to read what is considered to be the first book in the Wollie Shelley Series but will hopefully enjoy that read just as I had this one as well as the next!!

Laughed out loud several times. Ridiculously over the top rom com meets murder mystery and so much fun to read.
