[a:Brené Brown|162578|Brené Brown|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1246473726p2/162578.jpg] is so personable. I found myself laughing multiple times as I listened. On the other hand, she gets into some deep stuff... so I also found myself in tears as I reflected on some of the lessons. I've already made some (minor) life changes, but I know I could learn so much more. Will probably do another listen sometime.

Dit soort informatie zouden we gewoon in onze opleiding of jeugd mee moeten krijgen. Een basis voor het leven.

The Power of Vulnerability was recorded during a seminar presentation over a few days. It went over the 10 Guideposts from Brené's material. I would not recommend for this audiobook to be the first thing you listen to by Brené Brown. This is a great supplement once you are familiar with her research, TEDTalks, and books.

There were times when she would ask the audience to raise their hands or ask them to do something, and it was not always relayed what was happening. That made for a bit of awkwardness a couple of times, but overall, I enjoyed listening to it. Again, a great supplement but not a replacement for her larger works and materials.

I love all things Brene Brown, and vulnerability is where I need more specifics to put it into practice. So this workshop made audiobook from early in her viral career was a great listen for me. I’m still leaving feeling like I need a little more concrete help to apply the concepts, but it was a good listen while in my car. Definitely feels like her earlier work, not as polished or defined but there’s something really nice about that too.

I love her work and find it empowering and insightful. However, if you have read her books, there is a lot of repeat content in this recording.

Love this book so very much! Such an eye-opener for me. I appreciate all the work that she has done in researching shame.

For entertainment value, this book was five stars. Brené Brown is funny. I haven't found this author's books incredibly helpful. I felt like I knew much of what she talked about. For a shame researcher, she surprisingly includes few studies. I can't see myself remembering much but I enjoyed it all the same.

3.5 Stars.

I absolutely love The Power of Vulnerability. I think everyone should read this. This was my second read, and I still found this so insightful. There is so much valuable knowledge packed into this and I will definitely listen to it again.
