Not what I expected, but in the best way possible. Slight Hunger games meets Greek mythology vibes during the middle of the story.
First time I've ever seen Hekate represented in a fantasy book before!

I left this book for a week whilst still on holiday and felt no urge to pick it up when I got back. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s something missing from this book that made me feel unenthusiastic about both the characters and the plot.

A perfect story for those who like Greek mythology, but don't want to read retellings of existing stories.

Chryse’s betrayal because we need more female friendships and I think they could have done so much more with their relationship

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 👏 the writing is amazing!!!!! I honestly almost cried at the end....
