I shamelessly love this book, thank you.

<blockquote>"Sometimes I feel like the seasons could come and go and come and go, a hundred years could pass, a thousand, the ground could collapse under us, this house could crumble and go back to the earth, and we would still be standing here frozen in time, because every <i>second</i> I'm with you is eternal."</blockquote>

I hope one day this love absolutely runs me over with a truck.

I truly LOVED the chemistry these two characters had with eachother, even it was sorta insta-loveish, it also kind of wasn't! I was screaming at Emma the entire time, like girl the love of your life is right there please do get him.

I believe my only complaint would be the pacing towards the end of the story, that shit was insane talk about whiplash.

I really liked this. The characters, for the most part, were adorable. I love a good survey. I could have used more exposition about Maddy. She seemed slapped in there at times. And the end felt somewhat jarring and disjointed. Like, we want that happiness, why does it feel like an afterthought? But overall, I did enjoy it.

This book was too cute, too sweet, too sad, and too perfect. The imagery and feelings evoked from it were so powerful and the message that the novel sends was equally as powerful. The characters were so cute and I loved hearing both Emma and Justin’s POVs because it made the story much more complex. I would say this is the perfect book for people who want a complex story and a plot with realistic struggles but happiness.

Really great book! I love all of the interconnections with the other books (that tbh I didn’t fully catch until the end - which is mostly my fault for listening to the audiobook on autopilot sometimes). But really good discussion on trauma and mental health (and appreciate that Abby Jimenez had a mental health consultant for the book) while weaving in this love story.
I was honestly shocked when we found out that Emma had a whole family her mother didn’t tell her about (if I had caught the Amber mention maybe I wouldn’t have figured this out sooner haha)
amazing book altogether!!
