Okay, wow, where to start. Another great installment in the Vampire Academy series and it’s supposed to get even better. I could just read the entire series right now but I need to wait. I want to enjoy it for as long as possible. I also don’t own the two last books haha.

It’s hard to talk about the book without spoiling anything but let’s just say that this one is as good or a little better than the second one. The strigoi are still the main threat but there’s some other stuff going on as well. In the end it all comes together in a huge fight at St. Vladimirs. There aren’t many new characters introduced but there are some that we lost. The ending is quite the plot twist and will change the course of the series. I’m excited to dive into the next book!

Shadow Kiss is, like the other books, fast paced and action packed. There’s never a moment I thought it was dragging. I loved the plot twists, all of them. Also loved the romance in this one. All in all it’s obvious I loved the whole thing. Not 5-star-material but still really good.

This was a rather short review, hope you don’t mind!

I loved this entire book... And then the ending ripped me apart.

I love this books series. Rose is journey something a lot of people can relate to, the lack of choices in one’s own life. And what would you do for the people you love? Could you kill them if you had to, to save them?

Prosegue spedita la lettura della saga de L'accademia dei vampiri, mi sta piacendo molto sopratutto per il ritmo incalzante. L'unica cosa che proprio non digerisco sono queste copertine

This ending, goodness.
As I just put this book in my bookshelf I have to gather myself.
All I can say is it ends with lots of loss. If you have come to love the characters yet you will be just as upset as I am. A passage from one of the earlier books gives a hint as to what happens in this so if you keep track of little details similar to me you know how inevitable things are..

I read these books out of order in the sense, I thought reading bloodlines would be more interesting than this series... little did I know they were CONNECTED! So here I am reading this series in order to start over.. So I know how everything ends which makes reading all the books from start to finish a great deal of "but... I know what happens... but I guess I will read it to find out how incase that has to do with something in the next series.." kind of deal..

I do not want to spoil anything, that is not my style. All I will say is it is a heartbreaking/I KNOW YOU'LL BE OKAY! Ending and I highly recommend you read it to figure out what happens!

HOW DID YOU DO THIS? How do they keep getting better and better?! Hearbreaking, yeah, and unexpected, but so so good. All the characters are true to themselves and although it inevitably falls into conventions here and there, it is amazing to find a YA novel about vampires without fear of changing and defying all we've seen so far. Just, wow, Richelle. A+.

This book left me incredibly torn. At the beginning, I felt like the un-development of Rose was crazy and frustrating and almost made me want to stop reading or take a break.

Then, once I found out the reason, I understood that it all tied in, but didn't really click with purpose still leaving me slightly confused on what caused what.

The ending, not only made me cry but, pissed me off. Between the conflict-resolve situation to the sadness and loss in the last book. I not only felt it wasn't fair (at least this early) but would have broken any normal character. I also thought that the decision Lissa chose at the end to not use her powers, was self-ish and hypocritical. She had been healing people minorly all day, plus she healed Christian AND Rose almost back from the dead....I mean really.

-M/F
-KAH (Kick ass heroine)
-Cliff hanger
-Can't wait to continue series.

*Gasps in shock*
Wow I was not expecting this finale, these books are starting to finally have more action and drama.
I'm also starting to like Rose more and Lissa less... oops

Kill me.
