Notes:
Solid adventure story with a gutsy couple. =)

Pācat cā nu pot o fārâmā dintr-o ⭐.
Of, of, asa carte mai bine nu.

A little too convenient how everything tied together in the end. But I'm a sucker for a happy ending

A fun international treasuring-hunting romp. I loved the idea of the heroes being a married couple - though I felt a lot more could have been mode of it. For the most part, they came across like buddies rather than husband and wife.

Anyway, plenty of good action and mystery.

It's a fun, light read.

Laughable fantasy about a couple who find a stash of wine previously owned by Napoleon!!!! aboard a miniature submarine belonging to the Nazis!!!! specifically according to the directive of Hitler!!!! and have to go traipsing around the castle that once housed The Count of Monte Cristo!!!! and to the cave of the famous Oracle of Delphi!!!! and to some other places involving Xerxes the Great!!!! where the couple goes about magically solving riddles that Napoleon!!!! and his buddy cooked up for some unknown reason. Good thing both of them are brilliant sharpshooting expert divers and gymnasts at ages where the hair is graying. What a silly book. Maybe the series gets better when Thomas Perry starts writing and puts in some actual plot, character, and suspense instead of relying on literary grave-robbing to carry the tale.

This is a story of Remi and Sam Fargo, who are wealthy treasure hunters. Their adventure starts with finding a WWII German mini-submarine in a southern coastal state. Again, I suspect that Grant Blackwood wrote the whole thing and 1Cmaybe 1D Clive Cussler proofread it. These are all skimming books.

I’ve read one Clive Cussler book and it was years ago. In light of his recent passing, I figured I’d try one of his books again.

This is not the most ground breaking, life changing novel. It is a beach/popcorn read. It is just a fast paced, almost cliché, action adventure. Not many unexpected twists and turns, but when you’re in lockdown mode and need a break from epics, it is a great palette cleanser and worth the price of admission!
