A truly fascinating scenario. From what I've read, people generally presume this to be the last breath for the Voyager books. That may be so, but I think we should recognise that Beyer finished this story with an excellent opening for future adventures.

A satisfying story that concludes a story arc, but also provides a jumping off point for further adventures. Bitter sweet in many ways.
