If book 2 was about what makes a home, book 3 is about what makes a family. :) Definitely worth a read, and a good successor to the first two books.

I love this series. It started my love of reading, so there may be some nostalgia bias in my opinion. Caleb was always one of my favorite characters and this book was no exception. I have been wanting to read this for a long time. It was worth the wait. A beautiful story about forgiveness.

Guys. I cried. I cried reading this children's book to my sons and they laughed at me.
We all loved it a lot. A man shows up in the winter. Caleb is grown and is writing a journal now. He wants to know who this stranger is who he has encountered. The story that unfolds is beautiful.

Unlike the other two stories in the series which are told from Anna's point of view, this is from Caleb's. I have to say, this book was way better then the other 2 books. It was easy to read and seemed to have more emotion.

I continue to enjoy this series. It is Caleb's turn to share events of a tough winter and a mysterious stranger.
