Excellent story for 6th grade and up. Natsume’s empathy and compassion for humans and yokais is just what I was looking for.

I liked this volume than the first one, definitely. I am glad it moved past the formulaic nature of the first one, but it still doesn't live up to my xxxHolic standards. It just doesn't have the same tone, although there are some similarities in the story. However, I will probably keep reading it because I love yokai and monsters.
