When I was sixteen , I used to feign sickness to avoid my class test .And Believe me , I was the most embarrassed person when I read The Hunger Games. And after reading this novel, it dawned on me that girls, can kick ass, much better, and harder than we guys can .

Katniss Everdeen lives in district 12,in the nation of Panem. Where an event known as tho Hunger Games takes place annually, in which two tributes from every district are sent . Think of it as the Olympics , just 200% more bloodier . Because a tribute will have to kill the other tributes in order to win . And our heroine , Katniss volunteers herself to play that hellish game in place of her sister.

Katniss Everdeen is as much of a hero as Suzanne Collins, who created such a horrible world which was beautiful . How will readers not enjoy this ? Katniss as a tenacious protagonist is very real . Then there is Gale , her best friend, and Peeta Mellark , her fellow tribute who also has crush on Katniss. The characters and events of the novel are so believable that unknowingly you will start living in it. Once you start reading The Hunger Games you won't be able to put it down.
