Such a lovely, cozy book.

I loved to read the story of Valentina and the one of Eloise, her mother.

To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first because of the cover combined with the blurb (for me, the cover screams mid-20s not early 30s main character, but alas), but I just fell into the story and loved reading the healing process of both mother and daughter, even though Eloise’s one could have used a bit more fleshing out in my opinion, and how they built this amazing bookstore for the community.

Also, I was rooting for Eric from the start. Such a lovely guy who sounds like an amazing partner.
